Pool Time Update

Now that our first month has passed at Uxbridge Pool we are happy to see most of the members still swimming with us along with welcoming our new members.

For the time being our hours at Uxbridge will remain as:

• Friday - 8.00pm to 9.00pm
• Sunday - 5.00pm - 6.00pm

Welcome to Hillingdon Sports and Leisure Complex

We would like to welcome all  swimmers and parents to our new home at Hillingdon Sports and Leisure Complex (Uxbridge Pool).  It's been far too long in coming but we think that the new pool space is going to be worth the wait and the fight that it has taken to get there.

Our first session on Friday 10th September was very well attended - The staff at the pool very kindly extended our booking and allowed us an extra lane to accommodate everyone that turned up to swim. The children all worked hard and had a great time. Some of the positive feed back we have already had from the children is:

'The new pool is warm!'

'Its much easier to hear the coaches and to see what's happening there and the pool is so clean.'

The coaches were all very impressed with the facilities and how all the swimmers adapted to the new pool. Our Head coach, Iain, was very pleased to see how many parents stayed to watch the children swim and said that 'Being able to talk to parents whilst poolside improves the club's atmosphere a great deal and will increase the positive relationship that we always strive to maintain between staff and families at FHS.'

The parents were also very positive about the move to our new pool - they all agreed that it was great seeing the children looking so happy to be back training in such a great space.

We would like to remind all swimmers that an attendance register will be taken at the beginning of each session, therefore all swimmers must arrive in time in plenty of time to register and get changed.
