Christmas Gala 2009

We held our Christmas Gala on Friday the 11th of December 2009, it was well attended and from all accounts - everyone thoroughly enjoyed the night.

As well as the swimming a raffle was held and hot-dogs were served in a good natured club competitive meet.

We had a massive response from parents who offered their help - we really appreciate the offer and even if we did not use you on the night, we would still like to say a big big thank you!

A really big thank you has to go out to Wayne Mason, who slaved over a hot stove all night to keep the spectators supplied with hot-dogs and good cheer.

A raffle was also held on the evening and between the raffle and the hotdogs, FHS raised over £130, which will go towards funding the inflatable hire for the fun night on the 18th of December.

Coca Cola deserve a special mention for providing the drinks for the evening as well as some extra stocking filler gifts for all of our swimmers on the night.

As soon as I get a list of companies that supported the evening with donations of raffle prizes - I will create a 'Thank you to our sponsors' article to show our gratitude.
