We hope that we have provided enough information on this website to enable you to see what we do, how we do it and wether it is the right choice for you and your children.

(Under ASA Laws and ASA Technical Rules)

The following swimmers have been selected to compete at this event:-

Taha A, Rhys J, Robert S, Charlie W, James B and Luke G - all have been entered for the 50m freestyle event (events 18 and 22 in Session 2). This is an excellent opportunity to get ASA certified times.

Sunday 20th June 2010 at Barnet Copthall Swimming Pool (Map).

Session 1 : Events 1 to 14, Warm up starts 12:45pm and starts at 1:45pm
Session 2: Events 15 to 16, Warm up starts 3:45pm and starts at 4:30pm

Transport

Darren and Les will be meeting at Yiewsley Pool at 1:30pm in order to travel to Barnet Copthall in good time for Session 2. It is advised that all swimmers meet the coaches there in order to travel to the swim meet together.

Update on FHS Relocation #1

Here is what we know as of May 22nd 2010

Yiewsley Pool will be open until at least the start of the Summer Holidays (July 23 ish)
We will continue to support Yiewsley pool for as long as we can
Uxbridge pool will not give us the time we were told was available, there are five (?) other swimming clubs vying for the available time.
Hillingdon Council has been provided with details of the requests for time by Uxbridge Pool, and will be making a decision 'soon'
We have been offered time in Harrow Pool (but this is a bit too far away!)
We are looking at other pools nearby. This includes Slough, Langley and Hayes.
We are also investigating the possibility of using a private pool

Yiewsley to gain health centre
- but lose swimming pool

It looks like Yiewsley Pool is to close imminently - this is the first official news we have received about this - via a newspaper !

The last official news we were given by the pool (a week ago) is that they had bookings from schools all the way through the summer, and they had no plans to close.
